Tunnel Chaos at Aviva Stadium as Leinster and Stormers Boil Over

Tempers flared at the Aviva Stadium, as the raw emotion spilled overboard, with a scuffle breaking down the tunnel between Leinster and the Stormers.

The Dublin side lead 13-8 at half-time, yet the two sides had quite the altercation on their way down to the changing rooms. Whilst it was immediately unclear as to what was said to start the mass push-and-shove, Stormers lock Connor Evans and Leinster prop Thomas Clarkson that looked to be at the centre of the fray.

The Stormers seemed rather irate and shouted at the Leinster players, in a 30-man frenzy on the side of the pitch. Leinster’s Caelan Doris and Joe McCarthy were at the heart of the skirmish, with the lock rubbing the head of a Stormers player in a mocking fashion.

There’s no doubt that this match means so much to both sets of players, with a spot in the URC Final up for grabs.
