Undrafted rookie wing Tre White has agreed to sign with the Heat, according to his agency, Seros Partners (Instagram link). Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress, who is tracking undrafted free agent deals at RookieScale.com, confirmed to Hoops Rumors that it’ll be an Exhibit 10 contract for White.
White bounced around over the course of his four-year college career, playing for USC as a freshman, Louisville as a sophmore, and Illinois as a junior before transferring to Kansas for his senior year. As a Jayhawk in 2025/26, he averaged 13.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 31.3 minutes per game across 35 outings (all starts).
Although his 45.0% field goal percentage as a senior was his worst mark in his four college seasons, White made a career-best 87.2% of his free throws and showed promise as an outside shooter, attempting 4.0 threes per game and knocking down 40.3% of them.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed training camp contract that lines up a player to earn a bonus worth up to $91K if he’s waived before the season begins and then spends at least 60 days with his team’s G League affiliate. It can also be converted into a two-way deal before opening night.
Either way, White seems likely to suit up for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami’s NBAGL team, as a rookie in 2026/27.
