Saracens enter the showpiece chasing a fourth domestic crown and their first since the launch of the PWR era, having edged Exeter Chiefs in a thrilling 40-38 semi-final to book their place. Trailfinders, meanwhile, arrive with momentum firmly behind them after stunning reigning champions Gloucester-Hartpury 29-26 to reach the first final in the club’s history.
Both sides have named strong matchday squads packed with international talent, setting the stage for a fascinating contest between two teams that have taken different paths to the final. Saracens will lean on the experience of Marlie Packer, Sophie de Goede and Zoe Harrison, while Trailfinders boast match-winners including Meg Jones, Kate Zackary and Emma Wassell as they look to complete a fairytale run with the biggest prize in English women’s club rugby.

Venue: Twickenham Stoop, London
Kick-off: 3:00pm (UK) / 4:00pm (CET)

Alex Austerberry has made three changes to the Saracens side from last weekend. Kelsey Clifford comes into the front row at loosehead, Sydney Gregson switches to the left wing, and Sophie Bridger retains her place at inside centre after an impressive Player of the Match display in the semi-final.
Co-captain Marlie Packer will make her final appearance in Saracens colours from openside flanker, while World Rugby Player of the Year Sophie de Goede starts at number eight alongside Gabrielle Senft in the back row. Olivia Apps continues at scrum-half after starring against Exeter and again partners co-captain Zoe Harrison in the halves.
Amelia MacDougall is poised to make her 50th appearance for the club should she come off the bench. “We’ve worked incredibly hard as a group to put ourselves in this position,” Zoe Harrison said. “The resilience we showed in the play-off semi-final was a real reflection of the character, determination and togetherness within this team.
“Trailfinders have been outstanding in recent weeks and our results against them during the regular season will count for very little on Sunday. We will need to be at our very best to get the result we want, but there is a real belief within this squad.”
Trailfinders arrive full of confidence after consecutive victories over Gloucester-Hartpury secured their place in a first-ever PWR Final. Head coach Barney Maddison has kept faith with the side that claimed the famous semi-final win, with only a midfield reshuffle seeing Carys Cox move to inside centre alongside influential England international Meg Jones.
An international front row of Alivia Leatherman, Georgia Ponsonby and Maya Montiel packs down ahead of locks Emma Wassell and Alana Borland, while captain Kate Zackary is joined by Haidee Head and Abi Burton in the back row. Isla Norman-Bell and Claire Gallagher continue their partnership in the halves, with Grace White and Vicky Laflin on the wings and Rosie Inman at fullback.
Trailfinders have opted for a 6-2 split on the bench, boosted by the returns of Scotland captain Rachel Malcolm and scrum-half Brooke Bradley following injury.
