Finn Russell’s fiancée Emma Canning has given fans a glimpse inside her glamorous Marbella hen party as she counts down to her wedding with the Scotland and British & Irish Lions star.

The former Scottish athlete headed to the Spanish hotspot with a group of close friends and family for a sun-soaked celebration, with social media snaps revealing a weekend packed with bridal-themed festivities.
Guests were welcomed with personalised invitations reading: “Welcome to Emma’s Last Soirée as Miss C”, while Canning embraced the occasion in a white sequined mini dress and bridal veil.
Another image showed the bride-to-be celebrating with sparklers during a night out, while she was also pictured overlooking Marbella’s coastline wearing a white cover-up embroidered with the words “Mrs Russell”.
Canning is no stranger to elite sport herself. A former Scottish heptathlete, she represented Scotland in athletics before beginning a relationship with Russell around 2017.

The couple have built a family together during Russell’s rise to becoming one of world rugby’s leading fly-halves. They share two daughters, Charlie and Skye, and have lived in both France and England during Russell’s spells with Racing 92 and Bath Rugby.
Their engagement was announced following another memorable period in Russell’s career, which included Premiership success with Bath and selection for the British & Irish Lions.
While Russell continues to command attention on the pitch, Canning’s Marbella hen do has offered supporters a rare look at the couple’s preparations for their upcoming wedding, with the former athlete celebrating in style ahead of becoming Mrs Russell.
