Nets forward Chaney Johnson has signed his two-way qualifying offer to remain with the team, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype tweets. Brooklyn tendered the qualifying offer over the weekend.
The qualifying offer is equivalent to another one-year, two-way deal with a partial guarantee of approximately $91K.
Johnson appeared in 12 games for Brooklyn this past season, averaging 8.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 20.5 minutes per game. He signed a two-way contract with the Nets in late December after being waived by Cleveland.
The 24-year-old forward also appeared in 40 G League games, averaging 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game.
