Bath have confirmed the departure of Backs and Attack Coach, Martin Gleeson.

Gleeson joined the club in October 2025 and played a key role in Bath’s run to the Gallagher PREM play-offs, as well as the semi-finals of the Investec Champions Cup.
He began his rugby career in league, representing both England and Great Britain, while also featuring for Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants, St Helens and Salford City Reds.
Following his playing career, Gleeson moved into coaching with Warrington Wolves in the Super League before making the switch to rugby union.
He later held coaching roles with Wasps and England Rugby, adding Bath Rugby to an extensive and varied rugby journey.

Reflecting on his time at the club, Gleeson said: “I’d like to thank Johann for the opportunity this season to come to Bath and work with some amazing staff and talented players.
“It’s been a great season and I wish the club all the success in the future.”
