Yesterday saw Day One of the 2026 NHL Draft come and go. There were the usual high-profile deals involving first-round picks, including trades that saw Pavel Dorofeyev, Mason McTavish, JJ Peterka, and others switch teams.

- Wild acquire #83 overall from Kings for picks #89 and #153.
Fourth Round
- Capitals acquire #101 overall from Blue Jackets for pick #112 and the Sharks’ 2028 fifth-round pick.
- Rangers acquire #102 overall from Kraken for picks #131 and #148.
- Kings acquire #103 overall from Canadiens for picks #113 and #190.
- Penguins acquire #111 overall from Bruins for picks #170 and the Jets’ 2027 fourth-round pick.
- Wild acquire #112 overall from Blue Jackets for picks #121 and #185.
- Golden Knights acquire #113 overall from Canadiens for picks #117 and #223.
